All pastas are not created equal. bionaturae organic pastas from Italy are made with the artisanal techniques of long ago. The difference between a traditionally made pasta like bionaturae and an industrially made pasta is easy to detect. The pale color and porous surface of our pasta is different because we extrude the shapes through traditional bronze dies instead of Teflon dies and dry our pasta slowly at low temperatures. I am a dad that can boil water, and following the directions explicitly and remembering to start the timer when the water starts to boil again allowed me to make something that my pasta loving kids (17 & 20) enjoy. The first time it was a bit salty for our taste, but a very brief spray of water took care of that. I add a half a pad of butter on the pasta after draining to avoid the glumping other reviewers caution against.
The lack of a gf pasta alternative had put a crimp in our revised meal planning. No longer. And since it stores well in the 'frigerator, we have even more options. For example, the pasta stays firm and tasty after sauteing, something I heard other gf pastas fail at, with green onions and sliced mushrooms. The microwave does not turn it into goo.

This is the only gluten free spaghetti that my son eats. I like the mix of grains in it.

This white rice flour, gluten-free spaghetti is an excellent spaghetti. It can be eaten by everyone and no one would know it is different. Very tasty and easy to prepare.

Had high hopes for this based on the reviews. I use a lot of water when I make it, I don't rinse it.. I following the directions every time. And, every time it is gummy. So gummy in fact I can't mix it with anything. Ends up like a huge glob, which is not appetizing at all. I have one package left, so I may experiment with cooking it less, or rinsing it, etc... all the stuff you aren't supposed to do. If it works, I will update my review. Otherwise, will never buy again.
